ChemStat 959 Plus Series
Conductive Fabric, Conductive Seam Tape


ChemStat 959 Plus is a conductive version of ChemStat 909A Plus Series. It is designed for those cleanrooms where the elimination of very low levels of static charges and the minimization of microcontamination are primary concerns, such as in the manufacture of magnetoresistive heads and disk drives. It is also used in cleanroom filtration systems.

ChemStat 959 Plus is composed of multifilament polyester and possesses a highly conductive grid based on the patented grid of the ChemStat 959 Plus Series. The grid combines the ChemStat carbon yarn with a custom-designed metallic fiber.

ChemStat 959 Plus is available in the same 8 attractive colors as the ChemStat 909A Plus Series.

Complementing ChemStat 959 Plus and designated ChemStat 959T Plus is a highly conductive woven tape for incorporation in sewn seams. The tape provides panel-to-panel conductivity across the seam, as if there were no seam at all. The latest T Plus version is 100% conductive in the tapewise direction, ensuring electrical contact between the tape and each grounding snap, while offering ultra-low electrical resistance.

Do not use chlorine or other bleaches, sulfur or sulfurous compounds, or acids in conjunction with ChemStat 959 Plus or ChemStat 959T Plus fabrics.
